social activities to enable members to come together in a spirit of recreation and camaraderie. The members of this
club play at the Santa Barbara Golf Club  located at 3500 McCaw Avenue at Las Positas. Map

The women play every Wednesday at 9 am. Tee times are posted in the breezeway and on the web site. Membership in the women's club includes Pub Links membership an
 IDC handicap number, assured tee time on Wednesday, provided that you sign up in advance and a discount on cart rentals.

Weekly entry fees are $4.00.

For special two day tournaments, the fee is $8.00.

Please do not post Wednesday's games on the Internet. Please post Wednesday scores at the golf course. There is a
possibility that your score could be entered twice which could have an affect on your handicap.
 Be courteous, know when to be quiet.  When another player is playing her shot, do not talk,
do not jangle change in your pocket, do not rattle clubs in your bag, do not take practice swing. Be still, and be quiet.
Give the other player a chance to concentrate. It's worth noting that the time to be quiet begins before the player steps
up to her ball. Golfers with even a small amount of experience go through what is known as a "pre-shot routine," which
usually begins about the time they pull a club from their bag. They might then stand behind their ball and look down the
target line before stepping up to the ball and addressing it. It is during this "pre-shot routine" that it is customary and
polite for other players to step aside and observe a moment of silence.

Tune into a live golf show every Tuesday on AM 1290 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. The show is hosted by Richard Chavez (Santa Barbara Golf Club), Jim Ley (Twin Lakes), Mark Greenslit (Ojai Valley Inn) and Tom Noyes (The Gold Klub). They discuss the Professional tour events, rules of golf, upcoming tournament events and local golf activities. If you would like to ask questions or have comments about golf, you can call in at 564-1290 during the live show.The show is replayed on Tuesday evenings from 8:00 to 9:00 PM and Saturday mornings 
from 8:00 to 9:00.
