SANTA BARBARA WOMEN'S GOLF CLUB

This Labor Day Weekend a special event will be held in Santa Barbara called “Patriot Golf Day.”

“Patriot Golf Day” is an outstanding, non-profit program that provides educational scholarships for the children and spouses of men and women disabled or killed while serving to protect our great country.  It also provides funds for disabled veterans to learn how to play the game of golf.  Its mission is to empower deserving military families with educational support and opportunities.  It is supported by the PGA and the USGA. The program involves asking community golfers to donate only one dollar at the time they pay their green fees.
Santa Barbara Municipal Golf Club, Mulligan’s Café,  Glen Annie Golf Course, the Frog Bar and Grill, and the “Golf Klub”  will all participate this year on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, September 4, 5, and 6.  If you have any questions or would like to volunteer, please contact Jeannine Daniel at jeanninedaniel@cox.net
Whether you are a golfer or not, please join us in showing our support and respect for those who risk or give their lives so that we can live in peace.
